Tameka was born and raised in the sunshine state of Southern California. From a very young age she loved to perform in front of large crowds when ever given the chance. Tameka fell in love with theatre from watching her father Sherman Wiggs Jr. perform on the stage. Tameka went on to study at Chapman University in Orange Ca, the alma mater to both her parents where she received her Bachelors degree in Theatre Arts. After taking time away from the main stage, Tameka found herself coaching her son Seth Carr as he got older. Tameka has shaped her son's career and coached him into some of Hollywood's prominent films such as Marvels "Black Panther" where he portrayed the young version of Erik Killmonger who was played by Michael B. Jordan, "Breaking In' starring alongside Gabrielle Union. Also known for TV shows such as Nickelodeon's "Knight Squad" as Fizzwick, Bosch, Code Black , Brooklyn Nine-Nine just to name a few. With much success and such a strong passion for acting Tameka Cruel wanted to create a studio for all young actors to learn how to create an environment with the space that is given ( such as the audition room), utilize a range of different emotions, making strong choices in their scene work, listening skills, and most importantly having FUN!!!
CCC Acting Studio is a place where Creativity ,Confidence and Characters are made!
Our mission is to create a fun and disciplined environment for our young actors to explore all elements of developing characters with confidence.
Learning how to utilize the body and voice as a tool rather than focusing on just memorizing lines. Bringing the scene to LIFE! So lets PLAY!
We all love hearing the words "BOOKED IT!"
But the question everyone wants to know is, what are those actors doing to book the JOB and ROOM.
Making strong choices, staying committed to the character, learning to take risk and being able to take direction when given all lead to BOOKING!
